Work Experience:

Puppeteer, Puppet and Props Coordinator, Oregon Children’s Theatre

Oversaw and repaired rented puppets and props for The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show in addition to performing as a puppeteer, where I received a Drammy for Outstanding Achievement in Puppetry as part of the cast.

Puppet Designer and Fabricator, Artists Repertory Theater

Designed and built a large skeleton puppet for ART’s production of Everybody, an adaptation by Branden Jacob-Jenkins of the Everyman show. The puppet had an arm-span of over 25 feet and would reach out over the audience.

Puppet Wrangler, Artists Repertory Theater

Maintained the child-sized puppet of Jeenu in ART’s production of WOLF PLAY in addition to being a resource for the performers and crew.

Props Master, Artists Repertory Theater

Worked as the Props Master for ART’s productions of An Octoroon, CaughtMagellanica, Skeleton Crew, Small Mouth Sounds, Everybody, It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, and The Revolutionists, finding and creating a variety of period appropriate props from 1980’s scientific equipment to an 1860’s breakable camera.

Puppet Fabricator and Props Artisan, Portland Center Stage

Built puppets for PCS’s production of The Little Shop of Horrors in addition to making, maintaining, and pulling props for other PCS shows, including Oregon Trail and Fun Home.

Crafts Department, Michael Curry Design

Made and restored a variety of components for puppets, working across the Crafts, Sculpture, and Fabric Arts Departments.

Puppet Fabricator and Writer, The Tall Tales of Paul Bunyan

Built puppets for and wrote The Tall Tales of Paul Bunyan produced by Kettlehead Studios as part of the 2017 Fertile Ground Festival in Portland, Oregon.

Performer, Moderator, and Builder, Portland Escape Rooms

Performs as a senior moderator and supervisor in Portland Escape Rooms’ interactive escape experiences, working with customers and staff and otherwise facilitating the experience in addition to building and maintaining puzzles and props. 

Costume Design, Post 5 Theatre

Designed and constructed costumes for Post 5’s post-apocalyptic production of Othello.

Art Department Intern, All the Wilderness

Assisted the production designer, set dresser, and props master on and off set to build and handle props, dress sets, and more.
